Pepper Native Freeze Dried Whole

This is the whole freeze fried Tasmanian pepperberry. Known or its vibrant purple colour is gives when used in cooking, the freeze dried pepperberry is more akin to the berry half of its name than the pepper (although it is still quite hot!). Best used crushed or whole in sauces or for experimenting with pastes and jams.
